2023 Face of Home Building!
Since 1985 Goodwyn building has become a recognizable fixture in the Central Alabama community and home building industry. Goodwyn Building has worked hard to develop a long and healthy relationship with subcontractors and employees, which has been a large part of the success in building more than 100 quality. energy efficient, and affordable homes each year.
Goodwyn Building commitment to Central Alabama goes beyond their homeowners. While Carter Goodwyn oversees operations for Goodwyn Building he also dedicates his time to volunteering for the community. Carter Goodwyn serves on the board of the Brantwood Children's Home and has partnered with and done several projects for Valiant Cross, Common Ground Montgomery, and King's Canvas.
With eyes on the future, Goodwyn Building will hold true to their goal of building homes that give people the opportunity to realize the American dream of home ownership and foster lasting relationships with their team and community.
Goodwyn Building was awarded the 2017 River Region Builder of the Year Award by Alabama Power
Goodwyn Building was recently awarded the 2017 River Region Builder of the Year Award from Alabama Power.
Cathy Brown, Residential Manager for Alabama Power's Southern Division, presented the award at a luncheon at the Capital City Club in Montgomery on March 7, 2017.
"This award is a recognition of George's long history of building quality, energy-efficient electric homes in the River Region", stated brown. "This marks the first time this award has been given and you are very deserving of the honor."
